Anyone know the story? Is it the same thing that happened with the MesaLounge?

Attention All « on: Yesterday at 09:32:52 PM »

For all intents and purposes, the Mesa Hub is now closed. Any new threads will be removed.

Pilots wanting a place to post on a web forum might want to visit their airline-specific ALPA forums.

That sucks, I was LAMA way before they started doing the "verified" business. Ah well. Ive been gone a year now, I suppose its time to move on and not bash Mesa anymore.

Its too much fun though.

Well, if it makes you feel better, the "verified" section has been shut down as well. Looks like the hub is out of business.

What a shame. It was a great site that gave a lot of hope to Mesa guys.

I wonder if JO would threaten to sue other forums that may de-face him? If it wasn't true, he would have nothing to worry about. To bad about the Hub though; I tried to get in and no luck-

well I guess JO should be just bashed on here then.

here goes.....
In you best sean connery voice from snl celeb jep:

SUCK IT JO. suck it long and suck it hard.

As to whether Mesahub has met it's end or not yet, has not been resolved. Stay tuned.

It is all for good reason for the folks that run the site....

...in the meantime, there are plenty of places to bash Mesa's management, as they deserve.

Dude that is friggen Hilarious!

It is sad that the freedom of speech is only for people with deep pockets. When J.O. sued Uslan he had to spend 21K do defend himself. The owners of the Hub haven't been sued they are just trying to prevent that from happening in the first place.

the mesahub is back up
w/ a new look.

I like the skull and crossbones.

I think it's the threat of lawsuits from JO. Very unfortunate.

Ummm, after being butt reamed by the judge in the Aloha case, I don't think JO has the money or credibility to be filing frivolous lawsuits anymore.

He definitely doesn't have the credibility but he continues to indulge in frivolous lawsuits. Just a couple of weeks ago he sued "Planebuzz".

The "new" Mesahub.com seems to be sponsored not by current and former Mesa pilots, but by the Aloha and Hawaiian pilots who have been running a couple of anti-Mesa, anti-Ornstein sites.

It's funny, because it's pretty clear that few if any of the current posters are carrying on any of the numerous and varied topics carried on the the "Verified" section of the old Mesahub. The true spirit and soul of the old Mesahub was reflected almost totally in the "verified" section; the non-verified was a sideshow that was rapidly turning into a soapbox for Aloha/Hawaiian pilots who hated Mesa.

So . . . the new "Mesahub" is going to be a ghost town. There are plenty of anti-Mesa sites out there; flight info is one, iflygo, etc.

A tip of the hat to the sponsors of the new "Mesahub", then, for attempting to carry the torch. Too bad you never really were part of the beloved old hub community to begin with.

(fortunately, there is another site that Mesa pilots have flocked to and is chock full of all things Mesa, both good and bad)
