Team:

I have come to know many of you in my six years with ASA not only as aviation professionals, but also as friends. It is in part for this reason that I have mixed emotions sharing with you my decision to resign from ASA effective Oct. 26, to take a position with a Dallas-based company.

I cannot stress enough my thanks for your dedication to ASA. I have witnessed it first-hand as part of the Maintenance and Engineering division, then as part of the Airport Customer Service team, and now as Chief Operating Officer. We have shared hundreds of successes over the years and have met and overcome as many challenges – all of which have helped all of us grow as a company and as professionals within our industry.

As I told Bryan when I shared my decision with him, I really do feel that my current job is the best in the industry. I have the opportunity to affect change directly by working every day with people who are passionate about planes, about ASA and who have ASA’s success at the core of every decision.

I will miss the airline industry and you, the people of ASA. My decision to move on is based solely on my desire to explore new challenges that will help me grow in a new professional direction. I wish each of you every success and thank you all for making these past six years memorable.

-Anthony

Is this the beginning of ASA Mismanagement bailing?

Could this be the start of some consolidation at ASA/SKW? DiNota gone and the latest CR2 UPG awards cxld.

Im really wondering about the cxl of the 15 capt. slots on the 200.

Dinota, was my pick to takeover after the contract is ratified, but he either decided the aviation world wasnt worth the stress, or was told flat out to find a new job cause you wont be needed in the near future.

Don't read to far into it.

He spoke with a friend last week and he said he had enough. A person that wants to fix problems but is not allowed. It's the blame game at ASA.

I wouldn't. They're cancelled quite frequently. If someone who had all their paperwork in got missed or if the numbers were off somehow, the award has to be cancelled. It will probably be reissued tomorrow. It's happened at least a half dozen times in the past couple of years.

Lord grant me the serenity to accept that which I cannot change, the vision to change what I can, and the strength to beat the living cr@p out of anyone who pises me off!
