Given the amount of recent growth, and what seems to be quite a bit of future growth, do you think that Allegiant will.....?

1.) Provide some sort of training pay.
2.) Provide living accomodations during training.
3.) Increase the pay scale to be a bit more on par with other MD-80 operators.
4.) Provide profit sharing or stock options.
5.) Increase 401K matching.

Also, has there been talks of bringing a union of some kind onto the property?

What is the current management/employee relationship like?

I know it seems that I'm asking for a lot, but I don't find it completely unreasonable to expect some of these things from a profitable airline.

Are you dreaming??? Or just wanting to FLY? If you really want to fly check out a real airline !!!!!! Don't waste your time with this company!!

Training pay is currently $2,000 a month-you provide your own hotel or crashpad in LAS. I don't see that changing in the near future.

We are currently working and in negotiations for better pay. Stock incentives/options is one idea that has come up repeatedly in that discussion. 401K match increase is another area that we are working on in the negotiation.
 
If you have to provide your own accomodations, any hotels, motels, or crashpads that any recent newhires can recommend. I have a class on August 30.

Same here for the August 30 class. I just received an offer from NetJets as well. Time to weigh my options. I think I need to go start a "WWYD...NetJets vs. Allegiant" thread. :)

If there were a pilot shortage, they'd be paying for a place to stay.
 
Training contratct / bond at allegiant

Just though I would ask this on this forum... what is the length and details on the Allegiant training bond/contract (whatever its called there) you have to sign as a new hire?

And did I read correct, training is 2 months long?

You may have gotten some bad info. No training contract.

Depending on your scheduling(cpt, sim, IOE) training will be 6-8 weeks.

Just want to fly the Mad Dog?

If you have done any research there's not much to compare. And if you're still "thinking" about Allegiant, there's nothing I could say to influence you...

I made the decision and it was actually a pretty easy one when I compared the pros and cons of each. Starting at NetJets on Oct. 8.

I wish all the Allegiant guys the best though. They have all been very helpful in providing information that I requested about the company.

About 3 years ago I blew off a netjets interview to remain in my beech 1900 captain position at colgan. Job just wasn't for me. Plus back then, everyone was saying netjets was horrible. Things change over time.
