World To Hire 46 more this year.

The World Chief Pilot said the need 46 more pilots this year due to future aircraft acquisition and pilot attrition.

Pax. They're the ragged out 10s that ATA was going to use for parts, or they're really nice ones we're stealing from ATA (we're just gonna go take 'em), or they're the ones that GAL- formerly known as ATA Holdings ("Holdings" being a key word here for those folks easily confused by facts) purchased from NWA and is leasing to ATA, World and whoever the he!! else they want to in hopes of whipsawing as many pilot groups against each other as they possibly can, and maybe make a little money in the process. So yeah, they're pax birds.

The Alignment bid results came out and 35 new hires needed to fill current vacancies on the DC10 and MD11. Probably will be more once you include attrition and retirements.

Guys from my interview group got October class-anyone hear a Nov class coming around the corner or anything?? The sooner, the better!!
