See that Gary Hart was fired....
...or resigned from NJA...
Too bad. I had a great deal of respect for Gary. I wish him well.

To all of you Gary Hart haters, think of this:
He may have quit or been asked to resign because he was always pushing too hard for pilots to take their time and make sure they accomplished all required items before flight, regardless of what scheduling was trying to push.
If that's true, how does his future replacement feel about pilots doing whatever it takes to be safe???
I think we lost a pilot advocate yesterday.
I hear FLOPS is hiring.
Wow, that's a pretty big assumption to make ...
Rumor is he's replacing the outgoing prez at Flex. What can we expect?
Are you serious?Rumor is he's replacing the outgoing prez at Flex. What can we expect?
We had a phone conference with him when he tried to get two crews to fly into a NOTAM'd out airfield. After basically drawing a line in the sand, he relented, although grudgingly, to the two crews.
.
If this is the story I think it is, there is much more to the story than that. Its interesting that dispatch would even release you to a notam'd out field ...How'd they get around that one??
See that Gary Hart was fired or resigned from NJA, anyone know where he is going?
Man, GH gets around more than Paris Hilton. He was at Ameriflight when I started there in 03. Put out so many memos I could have wallpapered a small house in just a few months. Also referred to himself as "Darth Vader" at one winter meeting, not sure what that was all about. Can't say I have a strong opinion of him either way, but why does he jump around so much? CEO's I can understand, but middle management (or whatever his title is) should be more stable I would think.
