Too bad. I had a great deal of respect for Gary. I wish him well.

Don't know about before NJ.

But here he always said the right thing.

"We don't fly broken airplanes, we don't rush, we take the time we need to operate safely, we don't take shortcuts.... etc.." "We don't fly hungry, we don't fly fatigued."

Hmmm.... when someone trys to push you.... You know what... I don't work for you. I work for Gary. Lets call him and see what he says....

As far as I know, he always came up with the right answer.

Wasn't he at BJS/AMR or Flexjet before TA/Options ? I think he was exploring orther optortunities when he (was asked to resign) left both of those jobs.

This is truly a loss for NetJets. He may have sent out goofy emails and seemed a little high strung at recurrent, But he always had the right things to say. As far as I know all of his "professional pace" talk was for real. I never met anyone at NetJets that had a problem with the man. I'm scared to death about who might be taking his place permanently. There are a few names that keep me awake at night.

To all of you Gary Hart haters, think of this:
He may have quit or been asked to resign because he was always pushing too hard for pilots to take their time and make sure they accomplished all required items before flight, regardless of what scheduling was trying to push.
If that's true, how does his future replacement feel about pilots doing whatever it takes to be safe???
I think we lost a pilot advocate yesterday.

Wow!!! Not the guy I remember....Guess People can change. Wonder if Sherringa will change?

Rumor is he's replacing the outgoing prez at Flex. What can we expect?

He means well and is a pretty straight shooter from my interactions with him. He does get fired up and send out whacky emails now and then.

The word I heard is that he was asked to leave after one too many run in's with Magoo.

Who knows who will replace him, but some of the names vying for the gig, keep me up at night also.
