Starting Sept 21. Show you have the vision. Hangar tours coming up. ASA wants you to bring your family to tour a hangar! Big hangar "name" announcement coming up too, but can't be revealed yet.. Earthshaking news I tell ya. Oh, but no news about crew lounge redo.

Nice to know that the part of the company "most likely" to dissappear in the next year is getting a remake.

But our 1970's Eastern Airlines crew lounge need to be pushed back beyond 2008 for a complete C concourse re-do. Last priority after new jet bridges and GO office space

Could anybody give a crap any less about this whole thing? I mean, they put out a freakin newsletter to tell us how excited they are to be picking out new office furniture! Give me a break! I suppose we need to lower our contract expectations since we must fund all this work!

Hey ASA GO...........here is your invitation to reality!

Who is going to sit in this new Ikea office furniture?

Couldn't agree more. Maybe they don't realize that the majority of employees are pilots, FAs, maint, and dispatchers. Can't speak for the other groups, but the pilots could care less. At least Lisa's not going to bore us with weekly updates anymore. And, who cares what they call a friggin' hangar! YGTBSM!

I would imagine those hangar tours, or any other official ASA gathering for that matter, would be about as exciting as Bill Lumburgh's birthday party was.

"Hangar Tours" is code for "We're to cheap to pay for cleaners so we'll try and trick you and your family into cleaning it for us".

Should be as effective as the aircraft cleaning party. By the way, now that Delta has a new leader, has the aircraft cleaning party been rescheduled? Didn't think so.

ASA management is sooooooo out of touch with the employee groups.

Maybe we should show mgt how much we appreciate them on the 21st? Any suggestions, and keep it legal, airworthy and clean now.

ASA Employee Appreciation Week?

September 15 will be 5 years without a contract! How much do they appreciate the employees?

We want a contract, not some fluffy media event!

They want to show appreciation to the industry's most unappreciated employee group by... offering us a tour of management's new palace! WTFO?!!!!

Could they be more out of touch? If you want to show us how much we're appreciated, how about some fricking raises and a new contract asswipes?

Brian, Charlie, Scott, and all of your lackeys, I want you to know you're all losers, and I WILL NOT STOP until I ensure you're out of a job or have no company left to "manage".

How's that for appreciation?

Oh but wait, FOOD will be served. Just saw 2 interns headed to Big Lots with 5 bucks to buy a loaf of bread, peanut butter, and jelly. Along with a roll of paper towels. Eva wants the change back, too.

The only thing I'd appreciate from management would be their resignation letters.

I was over at the hangar last week dropping off a broke plane I ferried back from AVL. Saw LW giving BL a tour. The place looked like a dump, and they looked like they were in awe of it! Hope the offices look better than the hangar.
