Where to live?!

Great post here...hopefully that Oct. class will happen--PD told me this week to expect early 2008 class. . . another question to join: Does anyone have a good reference or idea on how to figure out where crews/people that are based at a domicile live within approx. 1.5-2 hrs of their base? Trying to see what are the nicer areas to live ultimately! Thanks!

I had the type when I interviewed on 2/13. The pool dates are what count here because everyone listed here has a type. If you had it when you interviewed your interview date becomes your pool date otherwise the pool date is when you present the completion certificate to the company. If you are asking to get an idea of how many were invited to interview without the type then I don't know about the past but going forward with the slowed growth I am told it wil be very very difficult to get an interview without one.

FYI......There will be Sept. 5th, Sept. 19th, and an Oct. 3rd Class from what I am hearing. Repeat info I think but at least you have a date for the Oct. class.

What is the point in them saying, "you're hired, you'll be put in the pool as soon as you get a type."

Why do you have to have a type before class? I can see it as being a requirement for an interview, but why would they hire someone without it, then make them get a type before going to class?

Spot on... You are NOT hired until you are sitting in class the first day with your shiny new employee #.

heard from HR yesterday. they told me that i would not make the SEPT classes, but would be there for the next class. my pool date is 5/10. she said i was a handfull away from the Sept classes. you can slot yourself in with the information accordingly. i'm now hoping for another class this year.
