So far in my limited experience with ALPA the senior people are the disconnected ones. They only work for the top 10 percent of the list. Then they are shocked when they open a door that will only benefit a few senior folks and the company walks all the way through that door and screws them with it. (See prefbid and vacation slide)
I would much rather have reps that are at work and living with the same QAL and operational issues that I am then a senior lifer that only works 10 days a month.
Also PCL 128 did more work for ALPA and the industry than most senior lifers put together.
