that's actually one of our birds from my unit.... they were doing some airshow demo stuff there, I believe.
that plane is quite the performer, given it's size.

I have to agree. It was designed, tested, and built for tac airlift and it's done a great job. Too bad we don't have more of them. The critics are few and far between and most people in the know sing its praises. The AF got this one right for a change.

It's got a kick ass galley. It also has 110v outlets down the cargo area. Great for your computers or air mattresses. If you're in one for a long haul, bring an air mattress! Oh yeah, it's fun to fly too!

It can fly from KSVN to LPLA with a M-1 on board - that is all the Air Force asked for when they bought it back in 1984 and thats what they got. The er jets kind of fix the problem a bit but it will all get better when FDX buys 30 or more
