Anyone in Manassas today to see the new bird? If so, let's hear about it. (Ahead of time, if you want to bellyache about pay rates or otherwise, go to somewherez else, ya dig?)

It wasn't there as long as they wanted to show it off. They had to draft the Q pilots and the plane to ferry some saab parts to ALB.

...and the rates SUCK on it...

We should have asked the Q Demo pilots how much they get paid...

I was there today. It was great. Until I got in the cockpit. 3 MELS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then when it left it came right back and made a precautionary landing something about engine vibration. I think it is still there. Oh and the rates are just fine and ALPA won't pass.

Bombardier has absolutely no quality assurance. Once you fly 'em around a bit reliability gets better, for the most part.

Looks like it will fit right in to the Colgan operation!...

VOTE ALPA

Can't say for sure obout Bombardier, but I just got invited to interview for one of these positions at another manufacturer and was at a delivery earlier this week to observe.

Factory demo pilot pay starts at $95,000, plus benefits. Typically $105,000 after one year. Also, generous 401K, stock, incentive pay, insurance and expense account for travel.

The Q is doomed. That POS will be MEL'ed all the time. They will not know what to do with it when it comes online. I bet yah the try to apply the Saab MELs to it.... Retards...

Straight from the factory, the birds are sweet. Everything is shiny. It has that new airplane smell. And you WILL be delayed! Just remember to CTRL-ALT-DEL and y'all will do fine!

oohhh me me me me pick me ! ill do anything to fly it!!!! who cares if it doesnt pay enough.... its cooool! screw a contract! i just want to be the tallest midget!

lowering industry standards, one day at a time. but who cares.... 1 year upgrade... go colgan!!

I heard that half of the management was on board for a trip around the pattern down in Manasty. Everyone had a big dollar sign above there heads smiling with absolute glee! Merry Christmas Colgan.

Dude you must really hate your job.......Isn't Colgan putting food on the table for yah?

Ah, so getting payed enough to afford food is good enough for you...
I see. Well, thanks are in order for you and GW for helping mgmt overturn 75 years of hard work by Professional pilots to get this career to where it was.

Turbo

Even if the airplane is a POS it doesn't matter - Continental doesn't care. Cancellations and MEL's? Larry doesn't seem to care - you ho's are the cheapest so that's why you got the contract. End of story.

mind your own business
On the rocks;
I'll remember you said that next time i see you in Boston.
(yes, i know who you are)
By the way, you may want to wait until you're a little more seasoned before you start talking out of your @$$.
As for P2J's comment, you never, ever, ever wish a plane crash on anyone! Ever...! Idiot!

I could see the sarcasm in the writing! Jeez ease up on him!!

I am sure there are a bunch of airline employees that wish that a plane would go down with management types inside!! (Pilots supplied with Chutes However)

P2J Don't worry I got the joke!!!!!!
