What did I miss !!

don't tell me J (the blondie) smiled and NN came back a broken man complete with WORS ?

Midnight Brit
Strangely back in the USA

But isn't the TWU going to make everything better?

MB,

You left at a good time, my friend. No one smiles that much anymore and NN is a wery happily employed person (I think) at NetJets in OH. We sent some 'v's' to him as a going away present but I don't think he got them.

Sorry don't know much about your situation down there but whats the nightmare about down at Pinnacle?

Wasn't a nightmare till the TWU got there claws into us. It was an actual job with good pay and benifits. Thanks to all the dispatchers that voted in the union and then bailed out, I'm getting ready to see a second year with no raise and no bonus. Oh well, in the words of 405
"comming soon ......August 2007"

Top ten things I like about Pinnacle

10. The smell outside (and inside today.) Nothing like a sewer explosion in the office and the drifting sh*t smell to remind us of that payscale proposal.

9. The disco ball. A true inspiration brought to us by a brilliant chief of something or other.

8. No pay raise since 2004.

7. The retaliatory "We'll show them..." reactions of "management" since the TWU was voted in. (See #3)

6. Amateur airways weekends/Clueless management (TIE)

5. Our stupid ass cell phone rules.

4. No contact with the outside world except through our slow ass sh*tty
internet connection. Breaking News? You don't get it here. TV's are forbidden, too. Satellite TV? Nope.

3. CLC. Especially on really bad weather days and/or heavy pax load days.

2. Giving a flight 1000 lbs of extra fuel just out of spite.

1. Clocking out.

If you love it so much why dont you just leave? Take your experience and go elsewhere to find a better work environment because they are not all that bad to work for.

It's a bit more complicated than you might think. I'd love to move away from Merfiss.

What kind of cell phone rule do you have??

Common trash (dispatchers, crew schedulers) can't use cell phones in the office (maintenance is excluded) and they have to be on vibrate or silent. If I get a call, I have to scurry out of the office. Management, on the other hand, can have their phone ringers on "loud as sh*t" and talk on the cell phones while staring at the desk phones right in front of them.

Damn that sucks. No rules here, but there are a few people who I wouldn't mind if they had to abide by similar rules as you. Some don't have the common courtesy(sense) to turn their ringers off and when they don't want to answer them they just stare at them and let them continue to ring. Such idiots. Thats not just here its society in general. Just annoying when you have to sit next to it. Ok, Im done now.
