how long can pdt continue to operate??

I thought that the fo attrition might be slowing down a bit, but just found out that 2, possibly 3 senior fo's are leaving Syracuse within the month. Another one, who has been here about 2 months already has a Mesaba interview! What is going on??? I don't see how they can keep SYR as a base or even keep this company running at this rate.

i left a month ago after 18 months at PDT, its hard to say best move i ever made, but its my far a great move i made. one thing i can say for 100% is that, the Chief Pilot's here are nothing like john b. the airline i'm at now, are 180 degrees different (to the better her). j.b might be a good person, but he's a terrible chief pilot. Hope pdt gets new airplanes other wise the flood gates will never close there.!

Depends if US Airways is willing to spend some money on PDT. Rumor has it (yes rumor, so take it with a grain of salt) that they may be upgrading the fleet. Perhaps that would help things.

i heard about the whole atr talk, whats that about, i cant think of a stupider thing to do! why add a different type aircraft to the fleet, a dash can do what an atr can do, and vice versa (for the most part), any takers!!??

...To ATRs! Or is there a better rumor? They ain't doing anything or else they would announce something to keep people here, so they can operate an airline.

Jellynuts, we need to leave too. Another 2-3 of us on top of the ones this month gone from SYR by the end of June, and they will have to do something up there soon. I don't understand why coincidentally they all seem to go from SYR cause the CAs and living cost really aren't all that bad.
