Because gayjets does has not had any growth and their pilots have difficulty going to better companies dispite what the few loud mouths on this board will try and have you believe.

They are still scumbags in my book and most of the people I fly with have strong feelings about them.

First of all, I am not an Illini Alumn....just support for the Chief, since the NCAA banned the use of the Chief as the mascot.

Third, I'm not at GJ. I know these guys from working with them at a previous airline.

I don't agree with GJ's, but the fact is...they are getting jobs at bigger and better places.

This industry isn't as "hardcore" or "extreme" as some would like it to be. Freedom A-listers are at SWA, JetBlue and other majors. REAL scabs from Eastern and UAL are at other major airlines.

This industry holds no loyalty from top to bottom.

Yes, I do know 2 ex-gayjets pilots that are at airtran and were very open about their resume tactics.

im ex-tsa, so i got my issues with gayjets. i may not be much, but all those furloughs, and ex-tsaers are getting the word out. if you ever run into my at the airport, im the one with several anti-gayjet stickers on my bag. come and say hi!

Why didn't you guys transfer to GJ in great numbers. Wouldn't you have voted in ALPA and controlled both airlines. Seems to me with that kind of controll you woud have had Uncle Hulas by his "ball bearings". What prevented you guys from pursuing that course. Why don't you spearhead the "merge the seniority lists" movement that I hear is gaining momentum, instead of exporting your ignorance based on union rhetoric. Yes I ended this post negatively only to make you feel at home. For the record GJ has ridden in my jumpseat, I have ridden in theirs and I have ridden in yours too! they seem a little happier than you guys. You guys work for the same management, merge the dam lists, put up a fence and move on.

It's not me your sick of. GJ was not created by your attitude, it was created long before your attitude kicked-in. It was your attitude that got it where it is today. It was all yours and TSA, but your MEC was derelict in its' duty. And all that's left is anger, misdirected a the pilots at GJ. A wise woman once said "stupid is as stupid does". Now mix anger and stupidity together and you got a sure loser. Let me give you some free advice: Merge the damn list; put up a 3-year fence (protects jobs at both ends and minimizes trainig costs); finally get rid of your anger, you will see things more clearly then. Now I bet your really sick maybe even on your death bed.

How was the MEC derelict in it's duties. There was a neutral endorsement and a vote by the membership. In my opinion it was the right choice.............

The anger and resentment come from pilots KNOWING they were taking flying away from TSA pilots. But again and again and AGAIN you try to muddy the waters about the truth. It will never work.........

I actually suggested an infiltration plan when all this was starting up. The short answer was that it woudn't have worked because they voted in Teamsters as a "management" union when they only had 4 pilots, all of whom were TSA management, on their list. I still thought it would have been worthwhile trying something but oh well.
