Investors didn't quite agree with Grinstein's mkt value estimate of between $9.3B - $12B. Look for quite a bit of volatility in the next month as creditors dump shares and new investors jump on board. I will give them credit for being number 2.
I see the "fresh start" accounting has also lowered projections for profit from over $800M to around $670M for 2007. They say that's because of the different standards in place for the new company.
My estimate is around $400M.
In either case, DL should do just fine for a few years...as will most legacy's. The key to their success will be the ability to match present and future LCC employee costs along with continued profitability on the international scene.
