You're probably right, it could have been handled better, but based on the 1 hour conga line (not uncommon at JFK) you have to wonder how many other flights cancelled that night for the very same reason.
I'm not defending Delta on this one, but what cracks me up is that people are paying less now than EVER to fly, and the complaints are at an all time high!
I'd like to see someone drive from NYC to MIA for $127.00 in today's gas prices.

Mgmnt NEVER wants to hear from the front line employee's. Why...we could fix the problems almost overnight and show them that they are NOT NEEDED! If more front line employee's had the "higher up" jobs, things would run smoother! Too many Chiefs...not enough indians! Good article though.

These other folks may let you off that easy but you know I'm not OH NO not with all the customer service and poor service cracks you've laid on us over the last couple of months. Nope can't do it, I tried but it ain't gonna happen:laugh: Not Delta with poor service that's just can't happen, or can it?? It seems that DAL just like everyone can have and catch a bad break.

You're right, we should be broadcast all over CBS,NBC,ABC with how lousy our customers were treated during a 2" snowstorm in PHL! Not to mention 6 days later and USeless Airways still can't get pax from point A to Point B because of a "computer problem!":laugh:
Add that to the fact that LCC's CEO spent time in a ladies' prison.....I'm sorry WD, you have my condolences!:bomb:
