I've never been to a "job fair". What should I expect at the American Eagle job fair at BOS this weekend? Is it basically a screening to go to a real interview later or is this the real thing? What do they do about the sim portion if you actually interview in BOS? I've read some gouge but haven't come across any from a job fair for Eagle.

Guys from the San Juan fair were at my interview, they completed either the HR or Tech portion already and were taking the portion they didn't complete before. I think they took the 50 question test??, and the sim with the rest of us. So either way I think you'll end up in DFW to finish it all. It should be just like the gouge on AvInt. If you don't study that your silly...

a guy in my interview attended some group interview where he did the tech, hr, and written. He had to sit around all day while we interviewed so he could do the sim.... felt bad for him as he sat for about 9 hours doing nothing.

yup, mostly ag(mostly airtractor 301), some 135(Caravans,Aztecs, Beechjet). Most of it in radial engine ag planes.

Any other non-sarcastic answers welcome.

In today's world... You will surprise people with your time and not being already an FO or Catptain at a regional...
Lots of them don't even know what a radial engine is, so forget about the taildragger...

Good luck for your interview...you betta start doing some research about Ipod wearing, Hairstyle, and backpack colors! :) Have fun.

Sorry, that wasn't meant to be sarcastic. Just trying to see correlate your time to the chances of getting an interview.

The question was based on the fact that most newhires have a lot less time than what you have.

Go to eaglelounge.com and you'll get a lot more help.

Good luck.

Sorry I was so quick to make assumptions and snap back, but there are a lot of smart-a$$es on this board. Thanks for all the info guys. I didn't make the job fair today. I got sick, maybe flu. I didn't think that would make a very good impression to puke on one of the interviewers. Thanks again, bell47.
