Where do you live? Do you want to relocate to your base? Between the two your choices are CVG, GSO, JFK, MCO, or ATL. There are way to many variables to make a blanket statement that one company is better than another (barring one going out of business, but if that were known they probably wouldn't be hiring).

ASA is a sinking ship, albeit sinking slowly. Comair is ok today, but may be sold (possibly in pieces) any day.

It seems like a choice between to really bad choices to me.

Not sure it really matters at this point. Both airlines I think are in a scetchy situation. Reports this morning (3/29) on atlanta radio stations were highlighting deltas plans to exit bankrupcy soon and announced that they would probablly be looking to sell comair soon. Of course that not really new news but could create additional uncertainty if employed there. ASA is currently being systematically dismantled department by department. Delta now has 6 connection carriers flying out of atlanta, previously only the domain of ASA and Comair. If your looking for rapid growth and a fairly quick upgrade, look elsewhere.

D@mn... I opened this thread because I thought it had something to do with a Comair vs. ASA brawl, wrestling match, or something to that effect. Man, I just wasted two minutes..... :-(

Neither one has a training contract. Take the first class date (or hold out for the one with a better domicile choice), and then once you get your time up, apply at another airline with a rosier future.
