Oh, I forgot to say Congratulations to Continental. If you click on most admired they're #1.
 
Of course it is no one knows what they will do until the vote is cast on April 24 th. After that and the re release of new stock, it will be a cash cow. The reason for the uncertainty is that the investors really do not know what they are going to get out of the deal. It makes the men and women holding the money a little skittish.

Seriously, SWA/ FO.
I have to admit that DAL was DOA with the way that they ran this place. Are there issue to fix, yes. Do they still have financial issue to deal with, yes. Fact is that I have seen some moves by the company that really surprise me. This is not the same ultra Conservative team that ran this place in to the ground. I think a wait and see attitude is a good one. I would give them better odds than UAL and NWA. Do they compare with the balance sheet of SWA, no, but when they offer their new stock that will bring in a lot of cash that they need. Am I holding my breath no, but I also have seen some of their plans and I am impressed. If that makes me an idiot then so be it. I sleep well at night.

Besides, he's very depressed, his love phxflyr is on a trip, :crying: and I hear its snowing in New Hope PA today. Aaah the snow angels they could have made together after holding hands all day!:laugh:

Evidently you don't remember much about grade school grammar, or, spelling, either, do, you? And coming from someone who flies for the greyhound bus of airlines - you talk about not wanting DUMB people?? Where do you think most of your revunue comes from? and...Why are you always a d*ck on FI?

I don't care what kind of greyhound bus people this guy flies around!! Bottom line is the dude gets PAID!! He works for a fun airline, a stable airline...... And did I mention the dude gets PAID!!!

And as for his grammer, really...... Come on!!! I have a 4 year degree, but I will be the first to tell you that a GED is just as good to be an airline pilot!

Listen on the radios, anyone can be a freakin pilot! Its really not a PhD kinda a job!!
 
And what is your point? One does not relate to the other. He was calling me an idiot. It had nothing to do with a degree or not. He feels my thought process is flawed. I really do not mind the criticism. At times it is good and justified.

The dude was being a D*CK and I called him out. Period. He shouldn't point fingers.....he flies a cattle car...some of us fly planes in BK..some of us fly boxes...some of us fly boxes in Cessnas....we all want to get paid. ...humility is a virtue. You.......obviously not a phD for defending him, as 99.9% of his posts are him being a d*ck. Period.

I commute on Delta regularly and they deliver an exceptional product. If they had a hub in the DC area, I would take a gamble on their financial future and I would apply to them over SWA in a heartbeat. Delta is still a real airline and SWA is a job.
