Any passenger that complains need only look at the price of their ticket. What did they expect? I don't feel bad for them at all.

That's rediculous. There is NO price threshold where it becomes acceptable to get your $hit stolen. I plan on using a coupon for a free oil change; do I deserve to have my CD's stolen while I wait? Don't even pretend you wouldn't be freakin pi$$ed if it happened to you!!

What if the pilots are actually paying to fly the passengers around. Do they get to steal a few things, since they're subsidizing the tickets? On a full Gulfstream 1900, the FO is kicking in about $6 per passenger per hour. Doesn't that entitle him to a CD or something from each passenger on a round-trip?
