I read many articles that Ryanair hopes to have free flights everywhere since they charge for EVERYTHING else. They are even looking at in-flight gambling to offset the costs. I've never flown Ryanair, but I was lead to believe they charge for drinks and in-flight magazines. They seem to have taken some things to the extreme (ie ads on the overheads, no tray tables so they put the safety card on the seat back, no seat recline so they can cram more seats in, and no seat back pockets so there is less cleanup).
