After reading some old threads on Cabo, I have decided that a local handler is worth it (at least for the first trip). It looks like if you can contact the guys directly, you save money over going through one of the bigger handling companies.

The number posted for Juan Sanchez is two years old, does anyone know if that number is still good, or if there is a better number for him?

Any other recommendations for a good handler in Cabo?

Thanks!

Here is a number for the guys that work the fbo. I have used them for 2 years -- cost me $350.

Call Victor, Adrian or Edgar
The number I have is 52 624 146 5209

Would you use them to set up rooms and rental cars as well?

Any current recommendations on where to stay?

Lots of good hotels -- I stay at the Crowne Plaza, I think the fbo guys will get you a good rate there, If not you can get the crew rate through Universal. I use Dollar Rent a Car usually-- they have a counter in the fbo.

HaHa, that's no joke either. I spent 90 minutes trying to fax them our info yesterday!

Make sure to have a copy of the paper work with you -- I have gotten there a few times after verifying that they received my fax and they did not have the paperwork.

Adrian has us in the Grand Baja (all inclusive) for $110 a night.

Unfortunately, we have been going round and round about a fax or email. I have been trying for two days to send them my passenger list, DOB's and passport #'s, but nothing seems to work. A bit frustrating!

On another note... I have set up contract fuel (Avfuel) through ICCS, is that the only fueler on the field? FYI, ICCS can also handle all your needs, I found out when I went to set up the contract fuel. They speak better english and can work a fax machine.

Word from the wise here. Pick up the phone and call Universal, Colt or whomever you like. Let them handle it. Until you have been there done that, let to professional team take care of your needs.

PS you get what you pay for at $110/night. All inclusive should raise the, 'this place is a dump" flag. Go to the Hilton, Mealea, Westin or the even the Finnestaria. You will be much more comfortable.

All the fuel is from ASA no matter who does the handling or contract fueling. Did ICCS quote you a price for their handling? Just curious what they're charging. Hint if you need prist take your own if you can.

I don't know where the Grand Baja is, so no help there but this time of year $110 sounds awful cheap, I always book early so I can get the Crowne Plaza.
