7 ducks to be sure. The pics are pretty nasty. Right after that happened I was doing a walkaround in seattle and some ntsb guys showed up to take pics of the nose and avionics bay. They (the ntsb) said that the bird that penetrated the bay were smaller than the test birds bombardier used during its birdstrike tests.
