Who is hiring and how many right now and projected total for the year?

CAL 80/month
B6 70/month
FedEx ?
SWA ? (heard 700 this year?)
Airtran ?
UPS ?
Alaska ?

All part of the 2007 hiring boom, add 70 at Spirit

B6 won't be doing 70 a month, maybe 250-300 for the year, but the outflow may pick up steam.

No absolute answer at FDX but I am hearing 16 per class. I don't know if they will run one or two classes per month. If it is only one per month then that will barely cover our retirements this year. RUMOR ALERT: It could just be the calm before the storm. We're hearing another large bid - The mother of the mother of all bids MMOAB may be in our future. From the VP of Flight Ops, "bid the seat you want".
