Dude Pan Am or maybe eastern would have been my ideal choice.Reality is a harsh mistress. At a certain point it makes sense to abandon the destination and really consider an alternate!
LOL! Why don't you throw in some Hitler and Stalin references while you're at it? I heard Satan himself supports the RJDC just to consume the Delta pilots' souls.
Kool-Aid is Kool-Aid, no matter who is serving it. Try some original thoughts once in a while rather than just regurgitating what ALPA tells you.
Well if you can't even spell Hawaiian it's a safe bet you are not very informed, but out of curosity, what makes you lump Hawaiian in with Delta or Mesaba's situation?Just like Delta, Mesaba, Hawaiin....
I see Dan let you out from under his desk! Must get tiring not getting any sunlight under there!

I have to lower myself to the level I'm dealing with!Seriously? That's the level of maturity you can counter with?
<sarcasm>I just don't understand what would make DCI pilots think the mainline pilots are trying to screw them</sarcasm>.
gordon24 said:The level of his maturity is the fact that he's a p.o.s. delta pri#k. I was a Comair guy and now flying corporate. I give those delta di#ks the finger every chance I get.
If you are on probation, you will get a letter from the company firing your a$$...Don't listen to the "we understand if you are first year" crap that people are telling you. You do not show up, even using the excuse that there are no captains.
I don't think comair will strike. i think they will put as much pressure on management as possible but on the eleventh hour they will not strike. there are enough people there that just can't afford to go to work for another company for 19 dollars an hour on reserve with tues and thurs off every week swingin gear for a 23 year old with 2500tt. too risky to strike
Gawd that was depressing:crying:

How's that pension doing? Hmm...wonder where you're going to be on the list at USAIR. Yea, you've got a much better deal. You name the time and place jackazz and I'll see you there.
Delta is likely moving some of Comair's fleet to Skywest because Comair can't staff the aircraft they currently have, and cannot get enough quality applicants capable of passing the training program to agree to work there. They've already reduced their minimums to 600 & 1 out of desperation.

Touche'!
I really didn't mind the spelling and I'm not attacking, just curious how someone appears to think Hawaiian got hosed in BK court. We actually came out very well, AQ got hammered, not HAL.
What would happen to a new hire in training if a strike were to commence?? Do you join the picket line while on probation?? Would the company fire You if you did so?
What would the Union advise in this situation?
just go to skyw, we have no alpa, are paid well, and get along with mngt!!
