First off, you have to be kidding me right! What kind of WTF question is this.

Heres a gimme on the mechanical aptitude test, a home-made Skywest question found on ever single version of the test: A Brazilla departs ABC airport doing 240kts. 2 hours later a CRJ departs the same airport doing 480kts. How long until the CRJ catches the EMB? Easy but saw many "scribbles" on the tests with wrong answers next to them."
My answer: They don't ever hit because the question does not say which direction the airplanes are headed, what altitude etc.... And if IFR they will always be under positive radar contact and will not get close. Is your TCAS mel'd also?
Yeah, if I can do this problem I can learn systems, fly an ILS and be a people person. Silly thing!
