Im not! you just sound like that guy....you know, that guy at the airport.....the one who takes his license out at bars.....who has aviation pictures all over his house.....who cant talk about anything else.....again not trying to insult you!!!

You are going to have to better than that.

Whats wrong with having some aviation pictures around the house?

Nothing in my opinion Way2Broke. But if you or Foxcow need some pictures of Inbound's girlfriend naked to hang on your wall, give me a call...I got plenty.
ZING !!!:D

Regions: Good luck, we are all counting on you!

I put on a wig and posed for that calendar... I am Miss November..

Yeh, I tried, but alas, I was denied..

Maybe next year I'll prune the hedges and they'll give me 1 more day.. :)

That's sick and wrong...you must fit in well over there!

I hope that someone will sing "The Twelve Days of Corpexmas" this year if you are still in business!

hehehehe...

Sadly, the 5 Oclock shadow didn't seperate you from some of the other months :(

Oh, those are my twins... Helgetta and aMANda..

Nice job with the interview. Colgan has the same upgrade time and no reserve. Pay is 21 buckos an hour and 42 for captain. We are going to grow a lot more is the rumor. This is the time to jump on board for quick upgrade and move on!

Wow.. Now there's a contest.. Who is more dysfunctional.. Colgan or Regions.. :)

I've interviewed both places..

Going to grow alot more.. is the rumor.. exactly.. They are not talking Saab 2000's again? I asked ole' Chuck Colgan about those directly... His answer was no answer...

I heard that Regions is expanding too! We're turning the pods on the 32s into long range fuel tanks and flying those fockers down to Cuba and up to the buttcrack of the Yukon!

this just in..................

Continental is pulling the codeshare agreement for the SAABs, effective date unknown. I guess the best bet is to find a buyer that can put some cash into the place and turn it around........... Mesa, are you listening????? Anyone need a quick certificate? Bueller????? Bueller?????? Unemployment office in Smyrna is on Vine Street, if anyone is interested.

yea, sure, you can leave

I think we just scraped the iceberg gentlemen and nobody knows it! I'm gonna fix a Jack Daniel's, throw on my best tux, listen to some soothing violin music on the top deck and let the new FO's get on the few remaining lifeboats to SkyWest and CHQ before this boat sinks.

hey belch, didn't we come up with the lyrics one cold night heading to PAH???

Er, well-there were several slight variations...but quite possibly! I always liked the "And a night at the Peaaarrr Trrrreeee!" I worked on it from the right seat going to MWA, next year from the left going to LAF...I think that Christmas of 2004 was the best one though...

I wonder if the seniority of the Saab CA's will be honored...Gad Ten Early, that is crappy news if it's true. In a letter to the CP I think I addressed every one of the things that went awry about the Saabs-when they were still a rumor...

All the best to my friends there...good luck guys and gals!

Are you serious? If so, I am really sorry to hear that. Good luck to all of my former fellow Regex pilots.

Not to worry, we have some of Smyrna's finest working to fix the problem. Is that a lifeboat I see waiting for me with American Eagle written on the side? Or is it just the anchor???

I'm not sure, but one thing if for certain, you'll be in that lifeboat for the next 8 to 10.. :D

Well I'll be dipped-there is a voice of reason on this thread! But if the boat's going down might as well step up to Jim Beam and toast a departed friend...

It's probably an anchor...don't let HR drop it through the bottom of the raft or you will really be screwed!

Breaking News!!!

GREAT NEWS!!! The CEO just saved a bunch of money by switching to GEICO.

Have you guys heard?

Ha! Everyone knows the real money is in transporting goat herds

Greetings fellow Corpex - brothers & sisters,

I’m hearing things are looking pretty grim at Corpex (Rejex or whatever name is being used nowadays). Just wanted to wish everyone the very best, I hope y’all survive despite all the gloom & doom followed by more gloom. If you decide to bail and go to another regional I’d recommend you pick an airline where you’ll be upgrading fairly quickly (unless you already got 1,500+ hours of §121 PIC time). Have several friends at Eagle and after 8+ years their logbooks show 0(zero)!!! PIC flight time. I’ve been trying to help them get hired at several airlines but there’s really nothing we can do since they don’t meet the minimums for most airlines!

Anyway, just my advice and like I said - I wish all me friends at Corpex the very best, hang in there, things will get better (probably once you leave but better late than never, right? ;))

Sincerely,
HomeY

Bimini

I thought they had a training contract where you had to pay it up front, no?
Doesn't Chitaco require you to sign a 2 year training contract AND they cap your FO pay at $30,000/yr after 4 yrs?
And SKW starts you off to fly a CRJ at $17/hr. Speaking of quick upgrades, my friend has been at SKW for 2+ years now and he's still an FO. Maybe he'll hear something soon. Unless the company puts it down on paper I wouldn't make a decision based on "forecasts". How many companies tell the invenstors, "We expect to go out of business by this time next year"? Things do change quite often.
