Good for them. I'm glad to see someone besides the usual underbidders get it.

Really? When was this announced? Nothing on either company's website...

ummmmm....AWAC? that's news to us at MEH. Was just in recurrent and none of the management said anything..... maybe they know and are not saying anything but it hasnt been formally announced so the best thing might be to STFU.

Midwest Express? They dropped the express years ago. Unfortunately they can now be confused with Mesa's Air Midwest.

I'm sorry, do you work for MEH?

Or does MEH own the company you work for?

fanboyism is much different than fanboy-sim...which is what you said.

You work for RAH, right? Continental chose CHQ to replace XJT but it has been widely stated CHQ wasn't the lowest bid.

Besides, *if* AWAC gets that flying and *if* they were the lowest bidder (two VERY large ifs) it'll be because of cheap aircraft leases, already having mx on the airport and major tax benefits from the state of Wisconsin.

No "fanboy-sim" here boss, just the facts...

AWAC's pilot group has been through rough times and I would be glad to see them get this flying. I know some of you will be devestated that your 2 year upgrade won't be shortened to a year and a half if your company doesn't win yet another bid for flying, but you'll get through it somehow. WI is home to a lot of the AWAC guys and this would really be good news for them.

So, what part of hoping to see a deserving pilot group get a break do you all have a problem with?

man, i could have sworn i dyslexia my cured

i was serious, you are balanced, others.............not so much

oh yeah...and they already have the ovens installed for the cookies...please!

I got the "flying". I went up to MKE and made a very strong presentation to the folks at MEH and they just notified me that my phony baloney company was hired to do the flying. I convinced them to forget all about the airplane aspect of things, and concentrate on the money making potential of a fleet of Winnebagos. As I'm sure you are all well aware, Winnebagos are certified to operate with the installed oven for making cookies.

Also I'm undercutting all the other companies by using the tax advantages of buying my fleet from a Wisconsin manufacturer rather than the Holiday Rambler product built in Indiana. Sorry to all of those out there looking for a quick upgrade.........

Proving runs to start immediatly, followed by service to MDW, MSN, and SBN.

^How much did you make yourself take in concessions?^

Btw why does everyone care so much about this flying and that few planes frontier are trying to get.

The Delta RFP was for about 150 planes thats the big news. I have a feeling 2 airlines out west are going to be pretty happy next month
