SkyWest's COO also noted that opting for Bombardier's 900X aircraft probably "wouldn't be a stretch from where we're at," but a lot depends on where the next round of scope lines falls. Manufacturers would have to "scramble to those lines," he added. Bombardier is still studying the 900X. SkyWest currently flies six 900s and expects to take delivery of the last of 17 planes on order in March or April next year.
