So I am finished up my application for American Eagle. I'm worried though because my logbook has somehow become all messed up and my times are off a bit. Fortunately they are lower not higher but it still looks bad. My question is I read something about a pilot supplement that must add up both vertically and horizontally that is given to you during the interview. if my log book is messed are they going to drop me right there or am I just freaking out?

You know man, I am actually having the same problem with thenole logbook! Right now the thing is that im off maybe .3 or .4 when I plug my numbers into logbook pro vs. the paper book. I dont know what to do, I mean I use the MS calculator and I tripple check everything when I add up the numbers but I seem to be a little off on the numbers.

Well honestly what does it say about someone who has spent tons of money to build that time and can't even keep track of it?

Get a life. I defy anyone to add up a dozen columns after a few thousand hours, or even a thousand, vertically and horizontally and diagonally and forward and backward and inverted square roots and have them add up. And you don't want to work for anyone who's going to bust your balls over it.

Mine are off when I put them into logbook pro as well. However, any employer I interview with is only going to see logbook pro--so it does not matter. Pilots tend to be anal about being precise and what not, but at some point you have to say screw it and add a couple here or subtract a couple there to make it all add up.

Yeah, you need to find the errors. Go page-by-page until you get all of them.

Then make a journal entry with values to correct your totals, and note what the entry was for and what were the dates of the errors,

Fix it before the interview. Don't listen to the people who say "don't worry about it." They obviously haven't interviewed with Eagle.
