100LL is $4.00 gal and everyone thinks they need to train on that $200,000 G1000 C172. Make sure you guys get every chance possible to promote the G1000 as the only airplane that will properly train you to become an airline pilot. That way the costs of training will shorten the pilot supply.
That's an interesting point I hadn't considered regarding the price of gas. I suppose it could benefit those of us still paying dues in the future if there's a good gap of time wherer not many newbies are minted.
Hopefully the situations get better at the regionals such that management starts paying what they should and get staffed properly. I hope that soon flights will start to be cancelled on a large scale and people start realizing what these idiots have done.
