I don't think there is enough information out there to come close to making an intelligent decision. The turbulence at UAL and consequently at AWAC is getting to be pretty much industry standard stuff now. In short...I don't think switching jobs for that purpose will solve whatever issues you are having at work at AWAC. Utah's post has some good comments so I'll just add that you should switch based on your personal needs and desires and only go to a solid company where you see yourself for a significant period of time.cargojunkie said:If you had 6-8 months at the company and another job was offered today what would you do?

Air Willy was pretty darned stable until about 4 days ago. Good luck with picking a "stable" airline.WhiteCloud said:and only go to a solid company where you see yourself for a significant period of time.

Will this new job offer you better pay, better stability, and better quality of life? How about retirement, can you do it better at another company?cargojunkie said:If you had 6-8 months at the company and another job was offered today what would you do?

OMG I'm actually crying. It was funny as hell to me I guess since I'm at AWAC now and wondering with the rest of them. I was telling people that I didn't make a lot of money but I did like AWAC because we seemed to be dodging the worst of the sh!t these days. Whoooooops!! Spoke too soon I guess.Vik said:Are you guys really using the word "airline" and "stable" in the same sentence?![]()

As I have said before...my wife is a senior Exec. and and she and the legal departmemts she works with spend MANY hours figuring out how to "get around the law" and still be legal. And they do it.
