I thought I would add another smart@ss comment.
Max,
Just buy her a $5 digital watch from Kmart and convert it to zulu. If you fly for Mesa then you better go to Family Dollar.
Unless you girlfriend is a pilot I think it will be lost on her. I know if I got it for my wife she would say thankyou, I might get some, then it would sit on the dresser coated in dust with all the other jewelry I bought her that she never wears unless I ask her to.

The Breitling is the best but it is still too large for most women's wrists...plus it's in the 3K range.

Haven't seen anything else that comes close, but Fossil makes some nice cheaper knockoffs.

Good luck!

God forbid I ask a simple question that is not about which airline is the biggest looser and yes she is a pilot dumbass.

If she is a pilot dumbass, why would she need a watch?

Take it easy Max. Lord knows people have had a little fun at my expense. You should be able to laugh at your self, after all Im laughing at you.

This company makes a watch, not to big, 2 time Zones, I set for Zulu and local, 2 timers, 1 countdown timer. It can be set to light up when you turn your wrist, and the alarms can be audible, or vibrating, or both. I find it is a great watch, and won't break the bank to purchase.

Buy the Breitling.

It just plain makes you a better pilot.

Yeah, and if you buy 2, you'll be twice as good. Get 2 with zulu time and you'll be twice as good as any pilot in any time zone. I think that some airlines have a special accelerated entry program for pilots who show up at the interview wearing a Breitling

Sky37d, thanks I've never seen that one it looks cool.
It's the only one, that I know of, that will vibrate, which I feel on my wrist, as opposed to making a noise I will never hear. I used to set the count down timer to 45 minutes, and start it when i switched to aux tanks. At the end of 45 minutes, switch back to mains.

The one time I forgot to do that, I discovered the problem just after intercepting the glideslope, for PWK. It got my attention, and I ALWAYS set the watch when I switched tanks after that.

Don't most ovens come with a clock? Cheers
