For those who frequent JFK... You know that you are prone to hearing some funny Sh*t.

I was in JFK today listening to ramp tower on 131.27 while we waited for our gate.. and I hear a Comair guy call the ramp controller an A$$. His exact words were, "you're an ass!!".

then later on tonight on ground Freq all these pilots kept saying blocked to the Ground controller frustrating him. Then finaly he says,"look if you keep saying blocked, nobody is going anywhere."

ahhh...JFK..gotta love it...

Do you have a JFK story to tell?

What an abortion of an airport.

I cant figure how international carriers do business out of JFK.

I was there for the "You're an a$$" comment. Wait that could have been me that said that.

Waiting an hour an a half for the gate because the freedum CRJ at it couldn't find their FO. Land early, in the gate 1 hour an 15 minutes late.

Funny thing is, there were very few JFK "moments" before a certain Atlanta based airline decided to flood the airport with RJ's. I know, it's all about competition and market share, but to throw way too many a/c into an airport just to try and screw with a certain JFK based airline doesn't make much business sense.

My fav JFK moment is when he an RFK wuz tappin' Marilyn Monroe at duh same time............. bouyyyyyyyyy.....

"Airline" and "business sense" should never share the same sentence.

A couple of months back after landing on 4R we kept up our momentum expecting clearance to cross 4L.There was nobody in position on 4L so we were cleared to cross,a DL 737 also keeping his momentum right behind us requested "can DL XXX draft behind Jetblue XXX" I thought it was a novel request. The tower controller did not see the humor at all,he lost it with DL and gave them a phone number, this in my opinion was a complete over reaction.

You guys need the NY-speak dictionary. "You're an ass!!!" spoken between two New Yawkas roughly translates to "why thank you brother, you have a nice day now!".

Really? I would have thought it would have been either 131.37 or 130.27, but what do I know?

Heard this a few years ago on the old DCI pad off of "KK. "Everyone that speaks english hold your posistion, Bangladeshi is on the ground for KK and all he is reading back is "royer KewoKewo."

Shortly there after a worn out DC-10 comes flying around the corner and to the gate. It would have made a Southwest pilot stop in awe.

You are number 86 for taxi, call back in 3 hours.
True story. Trying to go JFK-BELFAST ,ATA B757.
Former ATA 757 Driver

Funniest I ever heard at JFK was AA 767 to follow Ethiad A340 to 4L. The obviously DFW based crew (FO) read back with long Texas drawl: "Alright we'll follow that there Jihad to 4L."

Positive rate "gear up"

Is everyone from Texas as sophomoric as George W Bush?

"Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."

"We do these things not because they are easy, but because they are hard!"
