Curious how often you update the books in your libary?
Seems ASA just came out with a new version of the Instrument Flyingbook. I am two volumes behind the newest, and wonder if it is worthwilespending $50 for the new version.

What, did they add a new way to enter a holding pattern? How about that new fangled way to intercept the glideslope? I'd probably save your 50 bucks, get it changed to singles and head on down to the nudie bar! If you are going to throw it away, at least you will get to see some boobies... :)

You mean the "Instrument Procedures Handbook"???

If you're paying $50 for it, you need a new distributor...I paid $18with tax for it and it's nice...real nice...pretty pictures andeverything.

of course if you're talking about another book altogether then ... I'll just go hide...

With the wealth of information on the Internet I am more inclined to suppliment my existing library with it. Now if a publication addresses something new or a new way of doing it or I do not have a book on that yet, then I would buy it.
