Professional boomerang thrower faces criminal charges after arguing with security screener

Ms. Miale-Gix is a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, and the Washington State and Snohomish County Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Washington. In 2001, Ms. Miale-Gix briefed and successfully argued a case before the Washington State Court of Appeals making new law in Washington recognizing the right to recover for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as bodily injury under Uninsured Motorist Coverage.
Ms. Miale-Gix also serves as counsel to, and an officer of, the non-profit United States Boomerang Association. She is a high level competitive thrower and two time member of the USA Boomerang Team, competing in World Team Cup competitions in the United States and Australia.
