I'm not complaining about the stuff I get for free, but....

When I compose an absolutely brilliant, insightful reply to a post and hit "submit reply", I get a screen that says I'm not even registered !!!!! I AM registered and DID sign in properly.

I can only type and think just so fast. What am I doing wrong ???

Copy your message to the clipboard right before hitting submit. Has saved me a few times. Although, I don't really know what the problem is, I don't get logged out. Sorry, can't help you there.

I think the problem may be with your computer. For some reason the internet settings may not be allowing you to stay logged in. I had this problem at work, but never at home. Maybe some computer geeks can chime in and elaborate....

Could be the cookie settings, under the tools>options>privacy>edit. Scroll through the list of blocked cookies, highlight the flightinfo cookie (if one is there) and click on "remove."

I have my settings configured to prompt me for every site that wants to leave a cookie behind.

Oh man... that's got to be a lot of clicking. I did that for a while myself but some sites keep asking and have tons of cookies. I couldn't stand it any longer.

That happens to me all the time as well. You won't loose your message. All I have had to do is when it pops up and tells me I'm not signed in, I sign in (again), then use the "back" button to return to the post and reclick "submit reply." It has worked everytime and I have not lost a post.

Not sure why it does this, but as somebody else mentioned, it may have something to do with not allowing cookies.

JohnDoe,

Thanks for the info...I'll try it. I thought maybe the computer was just trying to keep me from making a fool of myself.
