That was some seriously funny crap! :-p I will respectfullu submit that this mystery carrier also uses the call sign "Gear Down" almost as much as "Wind Check".

BS

I don't think it was Delta, I think it was a different carrier, with the call sign "Wind Check".

And they're "Dangerous!" :-p

How did the Delta guy know the ASA pilots commuted? That is pretty smart. And, only the ex-Navy guys at Delta ask for windchecks. They WERE "Top Gunners", but now they can't land worth a krap in a xwind.

Bye Bye--General Lee

FL350,

You must be frustrated that ASA turned you down when you interviewed; you can tell us how you feel  .
Now you have to polish your boss' shoes, wash his car and do his lawn; all this so you can say that you are better than an airline guy and you would never work for an airline (in the mean while you keep the airline magazine handy next to your playg@L under your bed). :D

Gotcha!

Actually, I turned them down. Thanks for playing though.

BTW what got into you? Did I insult your career choice? I was merely making a statement about people pretending to be what they are not. I would have the same attitude toward a corporate pilot sporting the same ego. Did I strike a nerve with you?

FL350 is another wannabee. Go fly that slowtation, that way you can act big when you see that baron on final!

The guy should have said that he needed to get the stewardess off his lap and then he would look for the little commuter.
