According to expressjetpilots.com, at a recent union meeting the reps said it's a 99.9% probable deal.

Just kidding guys - if it's true, good on ya.

What if the flying is out of CVG? Will they gloat about taking COMAIR flying?

So can we all look forward to this whipsaw garbage for the rest of our time at the regionals? Every week a different RFP and a different result. WTF ALPA?

It would be out of SLC.. And no, we wont gloat about taking any flying.. But at least we won this flying while having one of the best contracts out there. We have taken no cuts in order to win this...

So true. The ASA System Chief Pilot came to recurrent last week and said "Continental Express won that flying underhanded. It wasn't fair". It seems he thinks y'all are doing it at a loss. I doubt that. More likely, ExJet broke the management pact to tell crews that labor rates determing new "growth opportunities". Since y'all have an industry leading contract and still got the flying, it kinda makes ASA look bad for saying our 8 year old contract is too expensive. Oops.

No doubt!! I hope they did get it, would make our case stronger for pay increases!

It's official. XJT pilots just became scabs. Congrats and welcome to the club!

If XJT is doing any flying out of SLC then that means they just took the flying from Air Shuttle. Sorry to hear for them. SkyWest is definitely not being cut back in SLC.

This isn't my sandbox, but just be cautious guys. Count on nothing until you see a press release. Even then, don't count on anything. Welcome to the real life of being employed at a contract carrier.

Listen to you XJT guys foaming at the mouth.... YOU'LL GET YOURS!!!!

dude, he was kidding.........how many people have screamed this at skyw

All the people that realize our fabulous either 0% for EMB or pathetic 1% for the majority of the CRJ fleet, for a 10 year period of time...is verrrrry sad!!!
All the while Skyw Inc. continues to make quarter after quarter, and year after year of record profits!

Who said anything about SKW, were talking about XJT here. Cheese n' Rice!

And you think pilot pay is the single driving factor?

In terms of what? Getting the flying? Well in our case we weren't asked to take pay cuts or give anything up. So I guess unlike what managment of other carriers out there want you to believe, no our pay was not the driving factor.

The management of other carriers would like to keep their pay as low as possible (obviously) but we don't know that we (XJT) didn't offer Delta cost plus 4%-5% instead of the cost plus 10% that we are giving CAL. Just because we weren't asked to take cuts doesn't mean the company didn't undercut anyone. I guess the good thing is we aren't responsible for that.

Wait for the press release. This is the 4th deal that has been 99.9% done in the last six months. The other three were AMR, Midwest, and Frontier. Seems as if the AMR deal was a hoax, Midwest went to Republic, and SKYW got Frontier. This DAL rumor could be just like the rest so don't get all worked up until it is official. Union rumors don't count as official. I also like how it is 99.9% done. Why can't it be 88.8% done?

Good point except that Frontier went to Republic and Midwest went to SKYW.

I'm not saying it's 99.9% done... But I don't think Midwest or Frontier was ever close to 50% let alone 99.9% The Aviacsa deal was 99.9% done, now THAT GOD that one fell though.
