I'd be more than happy to discuss these issues with you. Shoot me an email or call me...or better yet, attend a road show. If you couldn't get to one of the 4 we've done already, there are 18 more scheduled. There is absolutely no excuse to not attend a presentation. If I have to, I will go to every pilot's house, door to door, to make sure everyone is properly informed prior to the vote (whichever way they choose to vote).

I post mildly over here because other airlines' pilots read the misinformation here. If pilots want my input, they can come to a road show, email expressunity, or post on calforums (where they must use their real name). The mud slinging going on at the other forum is embarrassing.

I totally understand why you avoid posting on the other forum. It's just unfortunate that there will be some voting decisions formed by those who read the angry and millitant viewpoints from posters on those forums. Posters who haven't taken the time to attend the road show and see things from all sides.

I am staffed as a First Officer (and fly in the right seat obviously when I fly) but "holding" Captain for the past 2 bids. I cannot go to training any time soon due to my committment to the negotations process.
