It seems you need to re-read the article you posted, as it says Continental COULD sell its' shares, not that it HAS sold its' shares... Or, for that matter even WILL sell its' shares.

One can surmise that they are going to sell off what shares they hold, and possibly soon, but I doubt they are going to do it when the shares are at $10.44.

I also think it highly unlikely that they are going to sell them off and then stop using XJT as their "express" carrier when their contract expires in 2006. They might find a better rate with another carrier, but why mess with something that works? I don't believe that you will find an army of contract carriers flying Continental colors (a la USAirways), no matter how "cozy" (as posted elsewhere by someone else) they are with CommutAir and others.

Just a feeling.
