XJT post hire paperwork

Got hired with expressjet last week but my class date is not until the begining of Feb. They said I'd have to wait to fill out the paperwork and take the drug test for the backround check because it has to be done within two months of being hired. My question is will they have me fill it out when I go back down to start class or will they have me come back to IAH sometime before that to do it? Thanks.

Dunno on that one. Sounds like training is getting a bit backed up with the holidays, because up until recently most people were getting class dates within a month of the interview. You're the first person I've heard to have a class date that far back.

Little over a month for me. I just interviewed earlier this month.

i would assume you'd fill out all the paperwork and drug test on day one of training. however, as we all know, one should never assume...

A lot of people that I was down in IAH with during training had to come back to fill out paperwork before the first day. Actually one woman I was in class with was down there doing paperwork during my final interview. I'd say plan on going down before hand... they'll positive space you there for it. Take about two hours.
