Does anybody else see the irony that at most of our respective employers could be fired for looking at the websites that she and the new Playmate addition to the XJT workforce post for the world to see? In fact by most companies policy, if Michelle the Maxim Hometown Hottie hopeful saw one of us in the crewroom looking at the website she posted and filed a complaint, HR would have to investigate and perhaps find the pilot guilty of sexual harrassment. I'm not saying that she would ever do that, but it does illustrate the MAJOR double standard that exists in this industry.

I've had my share and the more you have, the less hot girls seem to look. You become more discriminating as to what is really truly hot. She has a fairly attractive face, but she's also very made up. Tanned, muscled and dyed hair with lots of makeup and photographed professionally with special lenses and lighting. Apply these things to any average girl and she'll exude some level of attractiveness.

What a lot of guys see is all of the ritualistic female beautifcation processes that are providing this image. Truly hot girls as I've seen and known them don't require all of this stuff. They're naturally beautiful without all of the embellishments. It's kind of like a car that comes off the lot as a being beautiful. The styling and components alone make it a wonderful piece of machinery right off the line. Not like a cheap little compact with all the bells and whistles put on to make it more like this car. Things like the shiny rims, tints, spoilers, fins, multi-colored lights, visors, noisy tailpipes, etc. make it look cheap and gaudy. Usually it is an attempt of the owner to make up for the vehicles shortcomings.

The double standard is more in the way that major companies classify and handle "sexual harrassment" issues. All I was saying is that if Michelle wanted to, she could report another pilot who was looking at her own pics as being sexually harrased in the work place. I'm not saying she would call HR, but in this PC day and age HR would have to investigate, and possibly terminate the employee who was looking at a link she posted herself. There lies the double standard. I guess this is why my company restricts the internet in the crewrooms to "approved" websites.......
