You are an idiot for calling somebody an idiot for something you know jack $hit about.

Given that I work there I do know as much as any other XJT employee. Sounds like 25 or so are going to Aviasca. Who are we going to be flying the remainder for genius?

Come on, the point I was making is we are keeping the airplanes...not giving them back to CAL...I was just trying to highlight the FACT that we are keeping them and TRYING to find some work for them...

No big deal...

How do you come off calling somebody an idiot? Have you been to any of the union meetings? They have made some indications in what direction we are going. And it is many directions. I don't claim to be a genius, just staying informed and not running my mouth making stupid statements and calling people names without any information. Oh I forgot, this is an anonymous web board where propaganda and fear mongering are standard. Carry on.

Had to make the same decision a year ago between awac and xjt, I chose xjt and havent thought twice even with all the announcements, and the contract is about to get even better here. Where ever you go b/n the two I think you will like it. I hope everyone is a little more happy over there since there change to usair from a year ago. When are they going to finally be named the 50 seat company for midwest?? we all know they got it and usair will like to get rid of some 50 seaters for the 70/90 seaters.

Thanks for all the replies, guys. I guess I'm still a little ways away from applying (800/150). I'm new to this busness but it's obvious to me that you can chase that perfect gig until age 60 (and beyond). Just go for it and enjoy life, I guess. I'll certainly be happy if either carrier offers a interiew.

Are sure about the hire date at XJet? I was showed up for class in one month, took my checkride two months later. Funny, when I look at the senority list, it shows my hire date as day one of ground school, not check ride date. Where did you see otherwise?

I was told for pay purpouses and read the fine print, the pay portions kick in at the passing of your initial checkride. I read this over and over, meanwhile seniority begins the day you walk into class
