I have heard that ExpressJet requires so much actual instrument time ( I belive it was 37 ). Does the requirement mean actual in multiengine or just TOTAL actual?

Everything is total time, ie 37 hours IFR total time. By the way I think Express just lowered their mins to "walkstalks and pumps blood"..No min requirements.......................They can't find enough pilots..........Apply Today..

They must have lowered their time requirements. I received a call from them with my whopping 50hrs of multi!!

600tt 20imc 100multi are the mins, but no calls.. classes are full for months in advance.

Most of the low time guys are faring better than the high-timers in the training program too.....

I'm curious as to how you might know that? The reports I get are somewhat to the contrary! I guess it all depends who you talk to :)

Hard to believe. At 600/100/20, you would think every CFI on the planet must have applied by now.

Most probably have, however the phone interview can be tricky. I'd say if you get more than one question wrong, it's "try again in 3 months".

Does anyone remember any of the over the phone interview questions? Thanks

what is moca, what is a take off alternate, what are the holding speed limits, what is msa, those are what Q's I was asked on the phone.

Oh I know the answer to the first one...A moca is an espresso coffee drink with a chocolate flavor.
