Does XJT require a 1st class to apply? I am doing the application, but only have a 2nd through the end of the month. Will they look down on the application if I don't have a current first class?

make sure it is a first class with valid first class privelages. People get sent home all the time because they show up with a first class medical that was done more than 6 months ago.

You have to have a first class at the interview and on the first day of class.
