I know.

Reminds me of the Independence Air guys from last year. Koolade is strong over there.

I think things are about to get worse for these poor guys.

Starting with the hotel rooms...from what I hear.

WOW, your information is a little out of date. Good job showing everyone how accurate your information is!!

EMBSkiilz, Rhoid, freightnazi, 80for80, whatever you are calling yourself these days. Figure it out.

A year ago, there was no Koolaid to be drank. We pissed it all out by that time as the company was done. In fact, I don't think too many guys were drinking it for the last half of 2005 either.

I put 7 years in at Express, and though it is a great company, I couldnt wait to leave. Like said before, 75% of the flying is for someone else so your always gonna be their bitch.

Fromage, Saucise, Fat Albert

HEY HEY HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Well, that DCI deal is only 10 airplanes. If it were more, then CAL would be allowed to see the prices we are charging Delta and get the same deal. It is entirely possible that the Delta deal was done at cost just to give those 10 planes something to do to pay for them and have the leases covered for a couple of years while we make the real profits elsewhere. I think it's kind of funny that the same operator is now being used by two different majors to compete against each other out of LAX to Mexico. 10 planes at little or no profit is better than handing them over to CHQ at gunpoint. Although we may be making a profit-- I just have no idea.

Don't be surprised if you see more airplanes on property for DL. I worked at DL for 16 years. I still have close ties over there. Especially in revenue management. This deal was not an At COST deal. I think CAL would be surprised if the numbers actually came out. I don't know the numbers either but I do know DL paid overall more on this deal than with their other CPA's when you consider the scope of the deal. This deal with Delta is an experiment for them as well as a need for capability. If we deliver then their experiment will come to fruition and they will continue to grow us and ad more flying. When the ASA CPA expires other airlines will have the opportunity to bid on more flying in and out of ATL so wait and see. Also some interesting news. We are going to be the first DCI carrier to fly under the new brand livery. I saw it. Its not the old widget but the widget is going back on the tail of DL aircraft. I have an opportunity to go back to DL. I probably will, however I honestly think XJT is going places and its a tough thing to leave here. I actually think I am going to stay here through the summer and see how things unfold. Lots of things on the horizon here. This could be a really good place for a career I think. The bases need to get much better though. We saw some new ones but I hope it gets better. I think it will.

Yep, from what i've been hearing the average load is about 10 on their new branded "adventure"

It depends on the flight some loads were high. You being the smartest person in the world should understand that getting a Avg. Load Factor within the first couple of days of operation says nothing about the future of the operation. But thanks for playing.

We signed a 15 year deal in 2005. You'll have to wait a bit.

It amazes me that some of you are actually salivating over going after another airline's bread and butter flying. You don't hear ASA guys talking about going after your flying in 2008 or whenever your next batch is up for re-bid.
