Just curious what are you flying now? I fly a Caravan so I am wondering if they will take current turbine time over current multi-time.SigAV8R said:I just got off the phone with Dawn and she said I wouldn't be invited b/c I'm not multi-current. I haven't been in a twin for 14 months and she said that I had to go rent a multi and fly 10hrs in the next 3 mos then reapply. Even though I have 250 hrs multi (PIC) time, I'm still not qualified. I met all the other requirements though.
Actually, I looked at my logbook and found out I have a whole 13 hrs of multi within the last 12 months, but am not current. Dawn called AGAIN today and started asking all the questions again (as if she had never called) and I told her she already declined me yesterday. I told her I could be multi-current in 5 days and that I actually had some multi time within the last 12 months, and she still said no. She said I'd still have to get some multi time over the next 3 months before I can reapply (which is realistically 4-5 months by the time they call you back after you submit online).CFI said:Do they have any requirments on recency of multi experience? I've been flying a 208 for the last 6 months and am no longer multi current.
I did the same thing back when the mins were 1000TT. Dawn told me to reapply when I had the TT and said that my file would not be kept and it would be like I was a brand new applicant. To make things even Sh*ttier, they dropped the mins to 600TT about 2 weeks after I got that call from Dawn. That woman must dislike me or something. It's not like I slept with her and didn't call her back...at least I don't think so.Youneek28 said:I took some bad advise and applied before I had the 600 tt. I had like 577tt and got the "thanks but not thanks" email. they didn't say i couldn't apply when I had the time but I wrote down that ref. # and password but i can't find it, what the hell should I do ?
Thanks
A buddy of mine got an interview, flew to wherever, and they told him there that it had to be 100 muti PIC.flytheblue said:This may just be a rumor, but I've heard that the 100 multi time has to be PIC. Is that true, or was that one of their old requirements? I can't find this minimum anywhere, and the website application asked how much total multi time you have, not PIC. Any thoughts??
Well...A "buddy" of mine who "was" in the GLA hiring pool (you know who you arepaulsalem said:A buddy of mine got an interview, flew to wherever, and they told him there that it had to be 100 muti PIC.
Has anyone gotten hired with 600 and 100 multi PIC?
Not exactly up on the details but I think he said it was through a friend...paulsalem said:Mooser,
Wow smart guy.
Did he know the chief? Or did he just call him out and offer to buy him dinner?
