Just a question for anyone that has recently gone through or is going through training at XJET. During the interview they showed us the footprint and it shows us basically training for 21 days straight then one day off then the next day the oral and right into more FTD's and SIM's. I just want to plan accordingly. It looks like we have 3 days off during the 39 days of training. Would this be correct?

Thanks

I start Mar15 and was also told the 39 days. I think they meant 39 training days, not including the weekends off.

I just finished the third week of training. We have 11 days off per month because we have recall pilots in our class. I'm pretty sure that all of the other classes are going to follow the footprint. They are starting new classes every week for the next 4 weeks at least. That's all I know so far. All of you are going to like the training, the staff is really top notch.

.....

All of the February 16th newhires got Cleveland as their base. We were told even though it's very senior, most of the senior fo's there are upgrading, causing them to be short fo's. Also most of the CAL flowbacks were CLE based pilots, hence they all bid CLE Captain, but when they flowback, they'll continue to be short. I'm willing to bet the next classes will all get CLE first, then maybe EWR, probably no IAH yet. They told us we'd probably get our first pick when the next perm bid comes out, but it might take till mid-end summer before they advance us to our new base. Most are wanting IAH fyi. Hope this helps.
