Oh please. Second hand opinions are all we have in this industry. XJT is a shell company, it'll likely be disolved when it's costs get too high (read:as pilot senority increases). Same goes for every other regional out there.

Good riddance.

The sad part is when you run into an individual with no applications out, claiming a career at a shell company. I feel for his wife and kids. At least thier offspring won't have the funds to pursue an aviation career. And the woman, she'll find a nice grocery store clerk to snuggle up to who makes more money than her ex pilot AND has more job security.

Congrats cunaguaro,

You are in a good position right now. I can only tell you about Xjet, I don't know a whole lot about PSA. But my experience with Xjet has been a good one. I am just now finishing up training. Xjet's training dept. is top notch. Most everyone I talk to out on the line have nothing but good things to say about the company. A few are pretty synical. Don't let that get you though. As with any job, there are going to be things about that are unpleasent, i.e. gone from home a lot, bad pay at the beginning. But it is like that at any job, unless you are a genius and can earn a 100 grand in your first year playing with computers. Here's the way I look at it, I love to fly. I would rather do this than anything else. It is a dream for me to be here at a good airline flying a jet. As you have probably read, other people don't share my enthusiasm. -----But I would go with Xjet. Good Luck to you!
